INGREDIENTS:
2 large mullet, herring or other rough fish
white fillets (no skin)
3 cups of white vinegar
3 cups of white port wine
2 onions, peeled and sliced
3 tbls of whole black pepper
1 tbls of white sugar
DIRECTIONS:
1. cut the fillet into small pieces
without the skin
2. put the fish pieces into the gallon
jug
3. add the white vinegar and the white
port wine, sugar, and the onions and
whole black peppercorns
4. marinate for at least a week in the
refridgerator
5. taste and you will have the same herring
you buy in the store only you made it!
