This recipe is a variation of a French soup and one that I have made several times and have enjoyed serving guests. I hope you will try it and enjoy it as much as I have.
INGREDIENTS
6 potatoes, peeled and cut in four
4 medium leeks with the dark green leaves
removed and the leeks cut into 3 inch pieces
4 stalks celery cut into 3 inch lengths
3 parsnips, peeled and par boiled
2 tbls Millers Chicken base or equivalent
2 cups dry white wine
1 cup cream
1/2 cup parsley
1/2 tsp white pepper
